I have a current CRB check.

Each face takes approximately 5 minutes, depending on the detail in the design.

I will only paint children who are happy to be painted and understand what is being done.

Face paints are not recommended for children under three. At my discretion I will paint on their arm or leg instead.

Parents/carers/ party hosts must take responsibility in allowing children to be painted, please let parents know that a face painter is attending. Permission slips can be provided if necessary.

People with cold sores, infections or anything contagious will not be painted. It may be possible for me to paint an arm instead, but only at my discretion.

I use clean sponges on every face and change the water frequently.

I use only the finest quailty water based face paints and cosmetic products. Some of the high pigment colours may leave a slight shadow after the first wash but will disapear with a second.

As with any cosmetic product, there is no guarantee that a reaction will not occur so if you are in any doubt about the sensitivity of your child's skin, a patch test can be given prior to painting.

Paints can be easily removed with soap, water and a flannel.

I will not tolerate any abusive behaviour or paint anything that I may see as offensive to others.
